Material Existance and the Grand Design

Posted on Jan 6th, 2008 by Alan : - D Alan
---Note to the reader: these aren't supposed to be coming out with no paragraph breaks. I'm working on that.--- Now! On to Material Existence. This part is tricky. But the first important thing to note is that, in my equation, omniscience and inaction are essentially equal. Meaning, the more you know, the more action is not action, but movement based only on principles of the universe that would be happening anyway. Because indeed the true omniscience understands even that it's own omniscience has a HUGE effect on the universe, and would understand the roots and reality of that omniscience. And for that consciousness, there would be no separation between movements it 'planned' and the natural movements of the universe-- visible to us, perhaps, as 'laws of physics,' and countless other observable realities. so in a sense, true omniscience would be only the backdrop of the universe, a consciousness on which the physical material moves, the way perhaps chess pieces move on a board. However, if there's a consciousness that is the whole universe, it's up against an essential problem if it wants to grow: how can it make more of itself, if it is everything and knows everything? It's an essential logic problem. everything + one more thing. If everything can add one more thing, is it, indeed, everything? Where is this one thing coming from? What's needed then for this consciousness is creation. But as it knows everything, it can't create, because there's nothing it doesn't know. The solution: to split itself up, into that which knows everything and is everything, and that which doesn't know everything, and because it doesn't know everything, can create. In other words, what we call on earth animal life. Animal life, and especially the animal life that develops 'intelligence' when a planet is at that stage of development, is the means by which the universe creates itself, and therefore expands. Time is the theatre for the universe's creation of itself, and desire is, in an analogy that works, 'fuel.' What we are principally creating is resonance, which is the base of the universe anyway. We are also creating, in this three dimensional/time existence (we are in more dimensions in these, but these are the ones we tend not to deny) unique scenarios based on our previous actions, to which others have to resonate. In this we are unique, all of us, and we're making something new, by existing in situations that haven't happened before. Beyond the dimensions of time, this both is and creates an expanding universe. If life is the means by which the universe's consciousness creates, does it not stand to reason that a life-supporting planet is in a sense almost like a... creation factory? An outpost, on the frontier between that which is, and that which is not, but will be? Unfortunately for the young planets, the ones just made, there are 'growing pains' associated with the growth of the universe, and we can lump those all together and call them suffering. But this doesn't adequately describe them. The consciousness at the base of the universe is, like your consciousness, fundamentally light. (Science would say that your consciousness is electro-magnetic signals in your brain, which as far as I know is basically light, so we agree, consciousness is light,) If that's true, then light is the backdrop of the universe. But if the universe is growing, perhaps our three dimensional brains would be served by creating an analogy on which there is a 'border' to the universe. Almost as if it's like a gigantic circular blob, like a pool of pancake batter on a skillet. If a live planet is a vessel for animals to create, and therefore a creation factory, then on some dimension or another, doesn't that place it close to the border of the universe? The area where light meets total lack, or absolute zero? The absence of matter, consciousness, or light? What would it look like in the place in the universe where light meets lack of light, often called "darkness?" Hmm, that's easy to answer: the place where light meets lack of light, or light in lower concentrations, would look like the hero stories, myths, and assorted struggles of human kind. Think of it: we are creating by creating more resonance, more light. Now, personally I think the consciousness of the universe, which is light and vibration, has been found by science and called the Cosmic Microwave Background. They say it's leftovers from the big bang, but it's growing. It's not stretching, it's growing-- there's a difference. if it's leftovers, it couldn't be creating itself. I think they are confused because their worldviews don't account for the explanation that's the truth-- that there is a base of the universe, and it is the CMB, and it is consciousness. Now, if we're creating more resonance and light... then we are the CMB growing, and if we are the CMB growing, we are fundamentally the universe’s interaction with the space that lacks light/existence. In interacting with that lack, "darkness" is the result from the perspectives of the sentient animals-- the cold, negativity, pain, unhelpful emotions, mental anguish and suffering, violation, strife. These things are the lack of light and lightness-- and they are such because on the dimensional plane of resonance and thought, these things are a location that we are moving through in order to bring light to them. To turn the anguish back into love, in a sense. The age-old battle of light versus darkness, I'm saying, has never been a battle, because darkness doesn't exist. It's not a battle, it's... creation happening. Because we create new scenarios, we are the universe growing. Because a planet is the universe growing, when it is young, it will be a 'new frontier' of the universe. Because it is a 'new frontier' of the universe, it is pushing existence into non-existence, or: it is light pushing into the absence of light. Because of that, the same way a warm body will "lose heat" in a cold room, this little planet has shown evidence, especially in our species, of less amounts of light and love than are manifest in other parts of the universe. Now for the good news in all this-- if a planet manages to mature to the point where most of it's sentient citizenry are consciously interacting with the core consciousness of the universe-- if the majority is in touch with the grand design-- then the need for suffering on that planet has ended, because essentially that 'location' in all it's various and myriad dimensions has been created and thoroughly colonized by light. All things being what they are, word around town these days is that the planets have a tendency to go to right to the brink of self destruction, but all things being equal, usually manage to pull themselves together and return to a purely joyous existence. But between the creation of sentience and the sentience's return to that pure joy, there are many ages of man.

I liked it!!! Sounds pretty reasonable to me. My model of the whole thing is different, but I admire the coherence of yours, and the amount and level of thinking involved, waycool. There is plenty of room for differing models!!!! Infinite space!!!

Setting this all forth is quite an achievement, and I hope it is adequately appreciated by readers!!

Eagerly awaiting paragraphing ability!!!!!

Blessings, Rev. O.M. Bastet

…I'd like to tell you something…
….yesterday I found your blog and started reading…I kin of breezed through History 1+2…ok…then I started reading this one…I am a quick reader…I was breezing through it and I started noticing little Light flashes in the way back of my mind…I know what this is (for me)but it was barely noticeable…by the time I got through and later as I was settleing down for the evening…the pattern begins again…these lights for me mean I am downloading packets of information…that usually takes time to diseminate…what the impact was at the time (it will filter up over a period) was to give me another angle of perspective on the info I already have…as it comes down I savor it like a good meal…it doesn't nessesarily have to do with the material I read…it has to do with frequency and vibration…

…I want to thank Peter and yourself for provideing me with this morsel !…it's always a treat…

….when I first started awakening about 8 years ago the first book that presented itself to me was the Urantia Book…I read it in 3 months…2000+ pages…
…at first I would read the same paragraph over and over and over and then fall into exhaustion…not knowing what I read…I felt like I was *learning * a new language…I settled into it after a while…much later I became aware of something strange…I would learn something then go back the next day to read it over…and it wasn't in the text !…this started hapening a lot !…I was getting info between the lines !I started getting info about myself !…
…God works in mysterious ways…after a while it is not so mysterious…the norm seems to move up a notch or two…

    …and so it begins…

Thanks for sharing, Will. I love hearing about your experiences.

And, Alan, I started to re-read your blog and understood it  better than before, yippeee. I believe I see now your initial points are related to the matter of Divine Will, and implosion/impossibility of any idea of any Will outside of that.  So I shall study further.

I think I have a similar experience to that part of what you describe: Higher energies often come intensely into shall we say my Aura, and then gradually “download” and integrate into the embodiment over days or weeks. I can feel the undigested chunk of higher energies sitting “out there,” [from someone's energy work on me, or from a long meditation,] and I can track the integration process/progress.

Blessings, OM Bastet
