Breaking the ground...

The first blog entry. And what do I say? What thoughts fill this head: the usual: + Many. I keep thinking about this book I read recently, My Ishmael, by Daniel Quinn. I recommend it to everyone. It talks about the society we've inherited in this small/large world, the one which is not made at all with quality of our lives in mind. It discusses how this world came about, and puts a finger, quite clearly, on the central challenges facing us. And the answer? You must read it for yourself, but the answer it puts forth is centralized around the idea of community building: and it's one of those moments for me when I just go "yeah..." when I feel like Neo listen to Morpheus explain to him the central feeling of his whole life, his emotional core, his rejection.
But where is this community? And how do I find it? Words in outerspace (IE the internet) are great and all... I've been looking for something more concrete. Here's to hoping I can find it, build it.
Anyway, hello to all you people, few though you likely are. Hello to you seekers and you finders, hello to you wanderers and dreamers, hello to you status-quo and you left out, hello, hello, hello.

Community building? Sounds like we have something in common with that book!
Oh, you have much in common with it. Read, I strongly urge everyone, read.
I think you would resonate with my blog entry called Looking for My People. The link is

To get more readers, I suggest get more zFriends, and post more in pods. Also add photos, books, quotes. Make your z-place a nice place for people to visit which shows them who you are. That was my conscious intention for my z-place. Nicely furnished. Not done yet, though.
To find people near you, go to Zaadsters link at far right on upper menu bar, and put in your town and adjacent towns in Location, and click Go. Other than that, a matter for personal discussion.
I know that cyberspace is not cuddly, but it sure adds a lot to my life, even though I have a lot of like-minded friends I can touch physically.
Phooey, the Edit function didn't work re above. Re the towns, one at a time, of course.
